User's Guide
If you wish to use the NPDepo Chemical Bank, please follow the procedure below.
（１）User registration
Please fill out the following two forms and send them to us.
・User Registration Form(doc)・Research introduction of assay system(ppt)
Send to: npdepo
We will use your research introduction as a reference to identify any conflicts with other NPDepo users and to discuss the evaluation of your assay system with you.
After confirmation, we will inform you of future procedures.
（２）Web Meeting（Zoom）
We will arrange a web meeting with the members of the Chemical Resource Steering Committee to discuss your research and additional materials you have submitted during the user registration process.
（３）Providing of Compound Authentic Library
Compounds are usually provided for a fee (actual fees to be borne) upon signing a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA). Please note that it may take some time for the contract to be processed.
Please contact us after you have sent us the Authentic Library by NPDepo and evaluated it with the assay system. We will hold another web meeting to confirm the conditions of the evaluation.
（４）Providing of Compound Pilot Library
If there are no problems with the evaluation conditions in the Authentic Library, we will ask you to re-sign the MTA and evaluate the Pilot Library. After receiving the results of the evaluation, we will hold another web meeting to confirm and search for hit compounds.
The structural information of the Pilot Library is generally not disclosed, but we will disclose the structure of compounds that are found in the evaluation.
（５）Conclusion of joint research agreement,
and provision of similar compounds
If a hit compound is confirmed in the Pilot Library, we will proceed to the provision of similar compounds.
After that, we will provide compounds only after concluding a joint research agreement with the consent of both parties, not by concluding an MTA. If a joint research agreement is concluded, we will ask you to pay only the shipping costs by cash on delivery, but no other actual costs will be borne by you.
After the conclusion of the joint research agreement, we will send you similar compounds for your evaluation. We will continue to contact you for evaluation, hold web meetings, and send you compounds as necessary to narrow down the list of hit compounds.
（６）After the evaluation is completed
Please contact us in advance if you wish to make an external presentation using NPDepo hit compounds.
We will contact you when the end of the joint research contract period is approaching. Please choose to extend or terminate the contract period after reporting the current status. Upon termination, we will ask you to submit a report on the results of the joint research.
